Hello, welcome to my blog. I'm a university student trying to breeze his way through a computer science major while spending most of his time in lecture browsing the internet for updates of my favorite subcultural fascinations.
I have been permanently influenced by the animanga subculture for the longest time now. I liveblog anime series that I watch, posting screencaps and GIFs that I make. My dream is to have my GIF making technique noticed in lecture one day and hear someone say, “By the beard of Gol D. Roger, look at this latent young boy’s talent. Such impeccable artistry. Someone buy this genius a Strawberries n’ Crème frappucino stat!”
Ask me anything.

simple yet beautifully done capture that justifies a detailed still’s long exposure on the screen - the focus follows the pathing of the stinger and does the subtly dramatic zoom to show the full portrait, including expressions on both characters - it’s a tense effect but the whole scene is so fast-paced that it doesn’t overemphasize it at all, also notice the interruption in the zoom-out, where it goes back inwards and then continues, for an extra touch yooooo
zoom out on the background and the character objects displaced, if you pay even slightly careful attention to the human corpses on the ground it should be evident how it’s working, the re-scaling job on that is actually a bit sloppy too but they are hardly the focus on the shot
uh, this gif is a contrast to the previous ones where its a zoom out on the background and inward displacement of the character sprites, this one is zoom in and the character objects get closer too, you can really get a feel of the 3-D ism
same transitional technique as that gif from a few days ago of Sekai Seifuku, but not as nicely done
I love this shit, it’s just simple pan out but they transmogrify the character sprites inwards too and it just looks cooler
