Wikipedia’s many articles on cinematography are such a mindfuck, but they’re so damn interesting and descriptive

I want to go out right now and try all the techniques I’ve just read about. Light trails & zoom blast & bokeh & depth of field & isolation & all that other shit that means the same thing as everything but at the same thing they aren’t the same because it’s fucking cinematography and photography we’re dealing with and they have the power to make the manipulation of light expand into such a large study AND FUCKING SUGOIIIIII
